Today is the 16^th anniversary of the October 27, 1999 crime. On the occasion of the anniversary of the tragic event today in the morning the President of the National Assembly Galust Sahakyan, the RA Vice Presidents Hermine Naghdalyan, Eduard Sharmazanov, the deputies, the close relatives of the deceased state figures, the representatives of the NA Staff and the journalists accredited in the NA paid their tribute to the memory of the October 27 crime victims.

Those present laid flowers at the monument eternalizing the memory of the RA National Hero Karen Demirchyan, the RA National Hero Vazgen Sargsyan, Yuri Bakhshyan, Armenak Armenakyan, Ruben Miroyan, Mikayel Kotanyan, Henrik Abrahamyan and Leonard Petrosyan.

During the talk with the journalists the NA President Galust Sahakyan has noted that the crime committed in 1999 is a great pain, which will scar, but will never pass through the time.

Paying tribute in silence and bowing to the memory of the innocent victims, the attendees once again underlined their great contribution and devotion to the establishment of the Armenian statehood.

Then the RA NA President Galust Sahakyan, accompanied by the deputies had been to Yerablur Pantheon and Yerevan Komitas Pantheon, and paid their respects to the memory of the RA National Heroes Vazgen Sargsyan and Karen Demirchyan, who had fallen victims of October 27 crime.
