Galust Sahakyan Receives the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United Arab Emirates

On October 14 the RA NA President Galust Sahakyan received Jassim Mohamed Al Qasemi, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to Armenia.

Welcoming the Ambassador in the RA National Assembly, Galust Sahakyan expressed hope that with his activity the Ambassador will promote the further activation of cooperation between the parliaments of the two countries and the partnership at the international platforms. In this context Mr Sahakyan highlighted the role of the Parliamentary Friendship Groups functioning in the parliaments of the two countries.

The Head of the Parliament emphasized the UAE balanced foreign policy towards the regional and international problems.

The NA President spotlighted the sustainable progress of the relations between Armenia and the UAE, the cooperation existing between the two countries and expressed hope that it will also be continuous in future.

Thanking the NA President for the reception, Jassim Mohamed Al Qasemi, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United Arab Emirates to Armenia, assured that he would do utmost to develop and strengthen the bilateral relations in different spheres.

In the course of the meeting the interlocutors touched upon the constitutional reforms going on in Armenia, the regional reforms and other issues of bilateral interest.
