On May 19 the RA National Assembly continued the work of the four-day sittings, passing by voting the draft law “On Amending the RA Law on Guaranteeing the Compensation of the Physical Entities’ Bank Deposits” debated in the first reading.
The deputies welcomed the teachers and the pupils of the Secondary School N 1 of Karmirgyugh community of Gegharkunik Marz who visited the parliament within the framework of the NA Open Doors programme.
Afterwards the parliament went on debating the financing agreement of the programme “Financing Support of the Sub-structures and the Villages” signed in Rome on 12 November 2014 between the Republic of Armenia and International Fund for Agricultural Development.
The deputies Hovhannes Margaryan, Arpine Hovhannisyan, Tevan Poghosyan, Mikayel Melkumyan continued expressing their views on the agreement.
In his final speech the RA First Minister of Agriculture Armen Harutyunyan touched upon the deputies’ voiced questions and concerns.
The bill proposing amendments to the RA law “On Referendum” was debated.
Afterwards the parliament in the first reading considered the draft law “On Amending the RA Law on Referendum” which presented the key speaker Artsvik Minasyan.
The Chairman of the NA Standing Committee on State and legal Affairs Hovhannes Sahakyan introduced the endorsement of the Committees.
The NA deputies Tevan Poghosyan, Hovhannes Margaryan and Khosrov Harutyunyan delivered speeches on the issue under debate.
The representatives of the factions Heritage, Rubik Hakobyan and the ANC, Levon Zurabyan expressed their views on the bill.
In his final speech the key speaker Artsvik Minasyan touched upon the deputies’ interpellations and gave clarifications.
The solid waste management is designed to improve in Kotayk Marz and Sevan town.
The RA First Deputy Minister of Territorial Administration and Emergency Situations Vache Terteryan introduced the credit agreement “The Household Solid Waste Management of Kotayk Marz between the Republic of Armenia and the European Bank for Reconstruction Development” signed on 19 December 2014.
The consideration of the agreement will continue at May 20 NA sitting.
The last sitting, according to the established order of the NA Rules of Procedure, was allotted to the deputies’ announcements.
