On October 30 at the joint sitting of the RA National Assembly Standing Committees on Protection of Human Rights and Public Affairs and on Financial-Credit and Budgetary Affairs moderated by Margarit Yesayan and Gagik Minasyan the issue of the Staff of the RA Human Rights Defender designed by the RA draft law “On the RA State Budget for 2015” was debated.

The RA First Deputy Minister of Finance Pavel Safaryan presented the financing volumes of the sphere, and the Deputy of the Human Rights Defender Tatevik Khachatryan presented the achievements and needs of the sphere.

At the joint sitting of the RA National Assembly Standing Committees on European Integration and on Financial-Credit and Budgetary Affairs moderated by Naira Zohrabyan and Gagik Minasyan the financial allocations and envisaged programmes concerning the European integration included in the RA draft law “On the RA State Budget for 2015” were debated.

The RA First Deputy Minister of Finance Pavel Safaryan presented the financial allocations of the sphere.

The RA Deputy Foreign Minister Shavarsh Kocharyan submitted for the deputies’ consideration the programmes in the sphere for 2015. He has underlined that Armenia is concerned about deepening the cooperation with the EU, taking into account also the obligations assumed in the EEU. He has informed the attendees that working debates are envisaged over the trade-economic component of the upcoming cooperation with the EU, which will also follow political consultations on the new formats of the RA-EU cooperation.

The speakers also answered the questions concerning the deputies.

On the same day at the joint sitting of the RA NA Standing Committees on Foreign Relations and on Financial-Credit and Budgetary Affairs moderated by Artak Zakaryan and Gagik Minasyan the financial means to be allocated to the RA Ministry of Foreign Affairs by the RA draft law “On the RA State Budget for 2015” were debated.

The RA First Deputy Minister of Finance Pavel Safaryan presented the financial means to be allocated to the sphere .

The RA Deputy Foreign Minister Shavarsh Kocharyan presented the programme activity of the foreign department.

Shavarsh Kocharyan has informed those present that opening of a new Embassy in 2015 is not designed. In his word, in 2015 the peaceful settlement of the Karabakh problem, the strengthening of the strategy of the foreign security, the international recognition and condemnation of the Armenian Genocide will be of priority for Armenia.

According to the RA Deputy Foreign Minister, the deepening of the ally and friendly relations with the Russian Federation, the reinforcement of the bilateral relations with the USA and European countries, the normalization of the Armenian-Turkish relations without preconditions will continue. One of Armenia’s problems is to continue and deepen the relations with the EU member states in parallel with the EEU.
