The Head of the RA NA Delegation to the Euronest Parliamentary Assembly (PA) of the Eastern Partnership summed up the results of the visit to Brussels at the press conference on October 22.

Mr Zakaryan informed the attendees that he had taken part in the sitting of the Euronest PA Bureau, where the newly elected members of the Bureau have been presented by the European Parliament. The Head of the RA NA Delegation reminded that at the plenary sitting of the Euronest PA held in May 2013 a decision was made to hold the next sitting in Armenia, but connected with the elections of the European Parliament, it had been postponed. At the sitting the decision on holding the Euronest PA fourth plenary sitting on March 16-20, 2015 was approved. According to Mr Zakaryan, at the next plenary sitting the Standing Committee on Political Affairs, Human Rights and Democracy will present a report on Eastern Partnership cooperation in 2014-2020 within the framework of the European Neighbourhood policy, the Committee on Economic Affairs will present a report on communication in the Eastern Partnership territory, the Committee on Social Affairs, Education, Science, Culture and Civil Society will present a report on the cultural and inter-cultural dialogue in the Eastern Partnership territory and the Committee on Energy Security will present a report on possibilities of searching new energy resources, innovating energy and alternative energy.
