On October 7 the Chairman of the RA NA Standing Committee on Science, Education, Culture, Youth and Sport Artak Davtyan met with the participants of the program ‘The Youth for the Youth’ of the  “The Future is Yours” NGO. Welcoming the young people in the National Assembly, Mr Davtyan has noted that he is well aware of the effective activities of the “The Future is yours” NGO. At the meeting during the sincere talk the young people addressed their questions to Artak Davtyan. Touching upon the entrance exams in the higher educational institutions and the questionnaire, Mr Davtyan has mentioned that the entrance to the higher educational institution should be easy, but graduating should be difficult, as studying in the higher educational institution and getting of profession is a process requiring serious efforts.

Speaking about teaching chess and national song and dance at general school, Artak Davtyan has noted that the elementary knowledge of chess and learning about national cultures is necessary at any age.

Referring to the teaching of languages at school, and especially the Armenian language, Mr Davtyan has mentioned that the Armenian language is the basis of the Armenian people’s identity and the object of worshipping. He advised to pay attention to the wealth of the Armenian language, its nuances while reading the foreign literature in translation. At the end of the meeting Artak Davtyan conveyed his good wishes to the youth, advising them to use their time in a right way and accumulate a rich reserve of knowledge.
