On September 26 the next sittings of the RA NA Standing Committees were held.

The next sitting of the RA NA Standing Committee on State and Legal Affairs was held moderated by Hovhannes Sahakyan, where a dozen of legislative initiatives were debated and endorsed.

Arpine Hovhannisyan presented the bill “On Amending the RA Administrative Procedure Code” authored by the deputies Vahram Baghdasaryan, Eduard Sharmazanov, Arpine Hovhannisyan, Ruzanna Muradyan and Margarit Yesayan.

The Committee considered and endorsed the draft law “On Amending the RA Law on State Duty” and the draft law “On Amending the RA Civil Procedure Code” submitted by the RA Deputy Minister of Justice Arsen Mkrtchyan.

Besides the abovementioned draft laws, the draft law “On Amending the RA Law on Compulsory Enforcement Service of Judicial Acts” authored by the deputies Galust Sahakyan, Karine Atshemyan and Eduard Sharmazanov was also debated.

The Committee also debated the draft laws “On Protection of Personal Data” and “On Registration of Rights towards Moveable Property” with related packages. The abovementioned all legislative draft laws with endorsement will be included in the draft laws of the NA session and upcoming four-day sittings agendas.

The Committee also considered the draft law “On Amending the RA Law on Legal Regime of the State of Emergency” authored by the deputues Stepan Demirchyan, Aram Manukyan, Nikol Pashinyan, Lyudmila Sargsyan, Gagik Jhangiryan, Levon Zurabyan and Hrant Bagratyan. As a result of voting the bill was not endorsed. The draft law “On Amending the RA Law Rules of Procedure of the National Assembly” authored by the deputies Rubik Hakobyan, Tevan Poghosyan and Alexander Arzumanyan was also not endorsed.

The legislative initiative “On Amending the RA Law NA Rules of Procedure” authored by Tevan Poghosyan was endorsed to be included in the draft laws agendas of the NA autumn and upcoming four-day sittings.

On the same day at the sitting of the RA NA Standing Committee on Foreign Relations moderated by Artak Zakaryan the Technical Agreement on Cooperation and Support within the Framework of the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon Sighed between the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Armenia and the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Italy,  signed in Brussels on June 3, 2014 was debated. The key reporter was the RA Deputy Minister of Defense Ara Nazaryan. The debated agreement with the endorsement of the Committee will be submitted to the ratification of the parliament.

At the sitting the NA deputy Zaruhi Postanjyan presented the draft decision “On Aspects of Military-Political Fundamentals for Ensuring Security of the Nagorno Karabakh (Artsakh) Republic and the Republic of Armenia.” After the debate by the recommendation of the Committee Chairman Artak Zakaryan the author agreed to postpone the debate of the draft decisions for one year term.
