On March 6 the Chairman of the RA NA Standing Committee on Foreign Relations Artak Zakaryan met with Canan Atilgan, the Director of Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung (Foundation).

Highlighting the former cooperation with Konrad Adenauer, Artak Zakaryan highly assessed the activity of the Foundation and the programmes implemented by it in Armenia.

Ms Atilgan proposed the Committee Chairman to organize a joint meeting after the elections of the European Parliament to be held in autumn with the participation of parliamentary delegations of the CoE and the South Caucasian countries.

Artak Zakaryan welcomed the idea and highlighted the agenda of the discussions. From this point of view, Mr Zakaryan proposed to discuss with the parties the agenda in the future and find an admissible variant for everybody.

In the course of the meeting the interlocutors talked about the RA-EU cooperation. At the guest’s request Artak Zakaryan also touched upon a number of regional problems.
