At the Four-Day Sitting of the National Assembly

On September 11 the RA National Assembly continued the work of the four-day sittings and adopted by voting the issues considered on the previous day.

After voting the parliament continued the debate of the bill “On Amending the RA Code on Administrative Infringements,” submitted by the RA Minister of Nature Protection Aram Harutyunyan.

During the exchange of thoughts NA deputies Khosrov Harutyunyan, Khachik Harutyunyan and Vardan Ayvazyan delivered speeches.

Summing up the debate Aram Harutyunyan gave clarification over the sounded viewpoints.

Then the deputies debated the issue of electing two lawyer-scientist members of the Justice Council of the Republic of Armenia.

The RA NA Speaker Hovik Abrahamyan presiding over the sitting announced that the Republican Party was proposing in the office of the two lawyer-scientist members the candidates Dean of the YSU Faculty of Law, Doctor-Professor of Legal Sciences Gagik Ghazinyan and the Chief Adviser to the RA Head of Police, Doctor of Law Grigor Badiryan.

Delivering speeches the nominated candidates introduced the improvement of the activity of the RA Justice Council and their positions aimed at the effective solution of the problems laid before the Council, answered the deputies’ questions.

The debate of the issue will continue at September 12 sitting.

In accordance with the NA Rules of Procedure, the last hour of Wednesday sitting was allotted to the question and answer session between the deputies and members of the Government.
