On April 2 the RA NA President Hovik Abrahamyan received the Head of Bergstrasse District State of Hessen of the Federal Republic of Germany (FRG) Matthias Wilkes and the RA Honorary Consul in Hessen Steven Brian Fera.

In the course of the meeting a number of issues concerning the development of Armenian-German relations were discussed. The cooperation between the local self-government bodies, the implementation of concrete programmes in the sphere of ecology, agriculture, education, culture and other spheres were highlighted.

The guests noted that on April 3 they will leave for the NKR, will have meetings with the authorities in order to get acquainted with the situation and have an exact picture of it, as not only in Germany, but also in the Western Europe there is a lack of information about Artsakh.

In the meeting other issues of bilateral interest were also discussed.
