I learnt with deep grief over the death of the RA People’s Painter, Laureate of State Prize Hakob Hakobyan.
Armenian culture lost one of its pillars, a person, who with his work was bridging different times, and the cultural values created by him belong to the whole humanity. He was the artist, who continuing the traditions of the Armenian fine arts, had also big contribution in the development of Armenia’s modern art.
I express my condolences to all family members and friends of Hakob Hakobyan.
