I am in deep sorrow on the untimely death of the incomparable actress of the Armenian Theatre and Cinema, People’s Artist of the Republic of Armenia Galya Novents.

Endowed with unique bright talent, one of the renowned figures of our art and culture passed away and left her lasting trace in the rich history of the Armenian Cinema and Theatre as People’s genuinely beloved Artist in Armenia and out of its borders.

Both in the cinema and the theatre Galya Novents was creating natural environment, live atmosphere and rich world, where the viewer was immediately involved, making her the immediate participant of all that. Galya Novents’ roles are close to hearts of different generations, in whose hearts she will always remain as an Artist having a part of her soul left at the viewer through her embodied characters.

I express my condolences to Galya Novents’ family and close friends and share their grief.
