NA Extraordinary Sitting Ends

On November 30 the National Assembly continued the work of the extraordinary sitting, debating several initiatives, which were included in the agenda.

Concluding the debate of the package of the amendments in the law “On Parties,”“On Administrative Infringements” and “On Amending the RA Civil Codes,” the MPs turned to the debate of another draft law “On Dissolving the Organizations not Presented Tax Reports by January 2008 and on Taking from the State Accounting the Individual Entrepreneurs,” presented by the RA Justice Minister.

The Deputy Minister of Economy Karine Minasyan submitted for assessment the initiative of the Government “On Amending the RA Customs Code.”

An international agreement was also presented for the MPs’ ratification. Presenting the endorsement the NA Standing Committee on Financial-Credit and Budgetary Affairs Gagik Minasyan noticed that the invested means would contribute to the improvement of the irrigation system and reduction of the water losses.

As a result of debate organized in the sitting all the legislative initiatives submitted by the Government were passed, as well as one international agreement was ratified.

Exhausting the agenda the parliament ended the work of the extraordinary sitting.
