On April 15 pursuant to the Article 70 of RA Constitution on the initiative of the government RA National Assembly convened extraordinary sitting.
The NA deputies by voting passed the packages of bills proposing amendments and addenda to the Law On Payment Accounting Systems and Payment Accounting Organizations and to a number of laws, as well as proposing amendments and addenda to the law On Urban Development and to a number of laws.
The National Assembly debated El.-Public and Innovation for Competition credit agreement signed between the Republic of Armenia and the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD) on January 26, 2011.
The NA deputies debated the package of bills On Making Addendum and Amendments to RA Law On Property Tax and On Making Addendum and Amendments to RA Law On Land Tax.
Additional Financing of the Health Care System Upgrading Program credit agreement signed between the Republic of Armenia and the IBRD on January 26, 2011 was debated.
RA President’s official representative, RA Deputy Finance Vardan Aramyan presented the Development Policy Second Programme financing agreement signed between the Republic of Armenia and the International Development Bank, and the Rural Capacities Creation Programme financing agreement signed between the Republic of Armenia and Agriculture Development International Fund.
The National Assembly debated the Development Policy Second Programme loan agreement signed between the Republic of Armenia and the IBRD on January 26, 2011.
RA Deputy Finance Minister presented the Macro-Financial Support Programme between the Republic of Armenia and the EU, which includes the Memorandum of Understanding signed on February 17, 2011, the credit agreement and the monetary grant agreement signed on February 15, 2011.
The bill On Making Addenda to RA Law On Value Added Tax submitted in the second reading and On Public Service submitted in the third reading, On Making Amendment in RA Criminal Code, On Making Amendments to RA Law On Civil Service was also debated.
The NA deputies by voting ratified international agreements submitted by RA President and passed the debated bills except the package of bills proposing amendments to the Public Service submitted in the third reading, which due to lack of quorum was not passed.
The National Assembly ended the work of the extraordinary sitting.
