The Children-Youth Republican Recitation Contest-Festival is held under the patronage of the NA Speaker Hovik Abrahamyan within the framework of Open Doors for the second time, which this year is dedicated to the 125th birth anniversary of the Armenian well-known poet Vahan Terian. First time the Recitation Contest-Festival was held in 2009.
On December 15 at Yerevan Mushegh Ishkhan School the final phase of the Children-Youth Republican Recitation Contest-Festival was held, where 80 schoolchildren took part from all marzes of Armenia, Yerevan, Artsakh and Javakhk.
As a result of the jury's assessments, 18 participants of 11-14 and 15-17 age groups were recognized winners, who will take part in the gala-concert of the second Children-Youth Republican Recitation Contest-Festival, which will take place on December 16 at Yerevan Gabriel Sundukian State National Academic Theatre. The NA Speaker Hovik Abrahamyan, NA deputies and other officials will attend the concert.
