At the NA Standing Committee on State and Legal Affairs

On September 3 the sitting of the NA Standing Committee presided over by Davit Harutyunyan was held. The legislative initiative submitted by the NA Vice Speaker Arevik Petrosyan on Making Addendum to RA Law on Civil Service was debated in the first reading.

The Committee Chairman Davit Harutyunyan introduced the view of the committee.

The draft law presented by the NA deputies Karen Avagyan, Galust Sahakyan, Edward Sharmazanov, Gagik Melikyan, Martin Sargsyan and Volodya Badalyan was debated in the first reading.

The package of the bills presented by the NA deputy Davit Harutyunyan on Making Amendments in the Code on RA Administrative Infringements, on Making Amendments and Addenda in RA Administrative Legal Procedure Code was also debated in the first reading.

The legislative package submitted by the NA Speaker Hovik Abrahamyan, deputies Galust Sahakyan, Hovhannes Sahakyan and Koryun Nahapetyan on Amending the RA Civil Legal Procedure Code was debated in the first reading.

The legislative initiative introduced by the NA deputies Galust Sahakyan and Rafik Petrosyan on Making Amendments in RA Administrative Legal Procedure Code was debated in the first reading.

The bill introduced by the Government on Making Amendments and Addenda to RA Law on Community Service was also debated in the first reading.

Larisa Alaverdyan presented in the first reading the draft law presented by the Heritage faction deputies on Making Addendum in RA Law on RA Holidays and Memorial Days. It is proposed to fix June 29 as Memorial Day of Unknown Lost Freedom fighters.

As a result of debates the Committee decided to endorse this and other draft laws, and the legislative packages and include them on the agenda draft laws of the NA autumn session and upcoming four-day sittings.

The debates of the two draft laws and one legislative package were delayed up to 60 days.
