At the Sitting of RA NA Standing Committee on State and Legal Affairs

On September 1 the sitting of RA NA Standing Committee on State and Legal Affairs, which was presided over by Davit Harutyunyan. In the second reading the draft law on Amending the RA Court Code, which was prepared by Rafik Petrosyan, Vardan Bostanjyan, Artak Davtyan, was debated. It was decided to endorse the bill with guarantees to include on the draft agenda of September 14-16 NA sittings.

The legislative package on Making Amendments and Addenda in RA Criminal Code, on Amending the RA Code on Administrative Infringements, presented by the MPs Ara Nranyan, Vardan Bostanjyan, Ruzanna Arakelyan, Goharik Yenokyan, Samvel Nikoyan, was debated in the first reading.

The draft law on Making Amendments and Addenda in RA Criminal Code prepared by RA Government was also debated. It was presented in the first reading the Deputy Head of RA Police Artur Osikyan.

During the debates the NA deputies presented a number of proposals, on the basis of which the representative of the government promised to additionally elaborate.

The debated legislative package and the committee’s bill will be endorsed and included in the draft laws of the agenda of the eighth session and the upcoming four-day sittings of the fourth convocation of the National Assembly.

The MPs canceled the debates of a number of draft laws by 30 and 60 days.
