On September 16 the sitting of the Ad-Hoc Inquiry Committee into the Events Occurred on 1-2 March 2008 in Yerevan and Their Reasons was held presided over Mr Samvel Nikoyan.

Mr Samvcl Nikoyan said that the video made of the public committee was provided by the opposition mass media, where the events occurred on March 1-2 in Yerevan, are shot. After watching the video material Mr Nikoyan has sent letters to the Head of the RA Police, Prosecutor General and the director of the Scientific Practical Centre of the Expertise of the Healthcare, asking to clarify the existing concrete episodes existing in the videocassette.

At the meeting the committee members also watched the videocassette provided by the opposition mass media.
