The President of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia Mr. Tigran Torosyan  congratulated on the occasion of the holiday of the Republic Day.

 “Dear compatriots,

With their cruel experience of genocide, ninety years ago our people managed to unite their divided strength and win the battles in Sardarapat, Gharakilisa and Aparan thanks to their freedom-loving spirit and firm will to restore statehood.  Although the first Republic of Armenia survived only three years, it gave our people that very huge spiritual power, due to which, at the end of the 20th century, not only was restored our statehood once again, but also Artsakh was liberated.

I congratulate you on the occasion of the holiday of the Republic Day, being sure that our achievements are already irreversible, and the path of democracy and reforms is the way forward, leaving no alternative, and will lead us towards the Motherland our ancestors dreamed about.”
