On September 11 –12 at the invitation of Mr. Tigran Torosyan, the President of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia, the delegation headed by the President of the Majlis (parliament) of the Islamic Republic of Iran (IRI) Mr. Gholam Ali Haddad Adel will arrive in Armenia.

On September 11, the President of the Majlis of Islamic Republic of Iran will have private talks with Mr. Tigran Torosyan, President of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia. The members of the delegation will meet with the members of Inter-parliamentary Friendship Group Armenia-Iran, and then the enlarged meeting with the Iranian delegation and members of the NA Standing Committees, factions and groups will take place.

After the parliamentary meetings the delegation will leave for Tsitsernakaberd to lay a wreath at the Genocide Memorial.

Mr. Andranik Margaryan, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia, will receive the delegation on the same day.

On September 12, the President of the Majlis of the Islamic Republic of Iran Gholam Ali Haddad Adel will meet with the students and faculty staff of Yerevan State University. After the meeting the delegation will visit the Blue Mosque.

Mr. Robert Kocharyan, the President of the Republic of Armenia, will receive the delegation the same day.

The joint press conference of the Presidents of two Parliaments in the National Assembly will sum up the results of the visit.

On September 12 the delegation headed by the President of the Majlis of the Islamic Republic of Iran Mr. Gholam Ali Haddad Adel will leave for Bishkek.
