The RA NA President Tigran Torosyan has sent a telegram of condolences on the occasion of the death of prominent poetess, state-prize winner Silva Kaputikyan. It says:

“With deep sorrow I learned about the death of Silva Kaputikyan.

Silva Kaputikyan’s contribution to the Armenian literature is great. Her poetry, her prose and journalistic works have become inseparable pages of the Armenian literature. The loss of a poet is always a loss for people. I am sure, not only her poetry connoisseurs grieve about her death, but also our entire nation.

I express my sincere condolences to Silva Kaputikyan’s relatives and friends.”
