The enemy intensified the fire, fatally wounding the Armenian soldier on the RA border, opening fire on peaceful civilians of Artsakh and again blocking the gas supply to Artsakh.
The Chair of the Standing Committee on Protection of Human Rights and Public Affairs Taguhi Tovmasyan informed her all colleagues that on March 22, the serviceman Arshak Sargsyan received a fatal gunshot wound from an enemy shot at a combat position located on the Yeraskh area.
On the same day H. Harutyunyan, A. Ghahramanyan, M. Jivanyan, G. Ghukasyan, K. Davtyan, A. Adam and D. Davtyan, residents of the Chartar city of Artsakh, while doing agricultural work in the vineyards in the area called “Klazin Dzor” of the administrative territory of Chartar, were shelled by Azerbaijani forces. Random fire was opened on the civilians from various types of weapons from the Azerbaijani combat positions adjacent to the vineyards, as a consequence the agricultural works were stopped.
At the same time, Azerbaijan has again blocked the only gas pipeline from Armenia to Artsakh
Thus, Azerbaijan violates both the agreements of the November 9 statement and a number of principles and norms of the International Law.
The Committee Chair sent urgent letters to all my international colleagues, alerting them about the grave violations committed by Azerbaijan, asking them to take all possible preventive measures to deter Azerbaijan's criminal actions.
