At March 21 sitting, the parliament in the second reading debated a number of legislative initiatives.
The RA Minister of Economy Vahan Kerobyan presented the bill on Making Addendum to the law on Industrial Policy.
The Deputy Minister of Economy Rafael Gevorgyan introduced the amendments to the RA law on State Duty.
The RA Deputy Minister of Justice Levon Balyan presented the amendments to the law on Remuneration of Persons Holding State Positions and State Service Positions.
Mainly technical amendments were made from the first to the second reading.
The authors of the law on Currency Regulation and Currency Control Gevorg Papoyan, Arusyak Manavazyan and Narek Grigoryan proposed their amendments.
The RA Deputy Minister of Environment Aram Meymaryan introduced the bill on Making Addendum to the law on Flora and the package of the enclosed bills.
The authors of the initiative on Making Amendment and Addendum to the law on Audio-Visual Media Sisak Gabrielyan, Narek Babayan and Hakob Aslanyan presented details on draft law.
The draft on Making Addenda to the law on Audio Visual Media authored by the deputy Sisak Gabrielyan is aimed at ensuring the protection of the rights of TV company and the right to receiving the RA citizens’ information.
The RA Deputy Minister of Finance Atman Poghosyan presented the amendments being proposed in the RA Tax and RA Civil Codes. As the rapporteur informed the Government presented some proposals from the first to the second reading.
The executive body regulates with other initiative the process of carrying out trade in not established places. The RA Deputy Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure Vache Terteryan presented the bill on Making Amendments and Addenda to the RA Code on Administrative Offences and the package of the enclosed bills.
The Government proposes addenda to the laws on Local Self-Government in the City of Yerevan, on Local Self-Government and in the RA Code on Administrative Offenses for regulating the work of those carrying out cultural activity in open air places of the City of Yerevan. Vache Terteryan also presented the initiative.
The MPs considered the addenda being proposed in the RA Code on Administrative Offenses.
The RA Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Arpine Sargsyan voiced the addenda to the law on Prevention of Domestic Violence, Protection of the Persons Subjected to Violence in Family and Restoring Solidarity in Family. According to her, the Government proposed some amendments from the first to the second reading related to guaranteeing higher level of protection of personal data.
