The NA Standing Committee on Regional and Eurasian Integration debated the draft law on Making Amendments and Addenda to the RA Law On State Duty at March 13 sitting in the second reading, which proposes to define new rates of duties in the Law On State Duty in accordance with the EAEU Trademark Agreement, as well as to specify the names of the charged state duties, to make amendments in the rates of duties.
As a result of the draft adoption, compliance of a number of provisions of the above-mentioned law with the provisions of the Treaty on the Eurasian Economic Union and the Eurasian Economic Union Treaty on Trademarks, Service Marks and Appellations of Origin of Goods will be ensured.
The key rapporteur, the RA Minister of Economy Vahan Kerobyan mentioned that after the first reading, the Government presented substantive, editorial and technical proposals, which were adopted.
As a result of debate, the draft was endorsed.
