Tigran Abrahamyan: International and Necessary Attention Gradually Decreases towards Situation Created in Artsakh
1 / 2

Especially after 44-day war, such attitude towards Turkey under the logic of the Azerbaijani attacks followed it, naturally is not logical. I would understand the authorities of Armenia that they offered condolences with dry text. However, the authorities of Armenia at the highest level even express their support to Turkey, already several times have sent humanitarian cargo: The Secretary of With Honor Faction Tigran Abrahamyan said during the parliamentary briefings answering the journalist’s question if this step can result in the normalization of the relations between the two countries and opening of the roads.

The deputy also noticed that almost the same number of rescuers work in the permanent friend Syria and in Turkey. According to his assessment, the policy pursued by Turkey and the steps taken by Armenia in this situation are not consonant.

Tigran Abrahamyan does not also believe that the humanitarian cargo or the support of Armenia be important for right positioning in the Armenian-Turkish relations.

During the briefings the opposition deputy touched upon the situation in Artsakh. “Today, I would like also to focus the attention of the community on the situation existing in Artsakh, because after two months, Artsakh continues remaining under blockade. Unfortunately, we should record that in parallel with increasing problems, the international and necessary attention gradually decreases towards the situation created in Artsakh,” the deputy noted.

In Tigran Abrahamyan’s opinion, the international community and especially the regional players, who always had their influence in South Caucasus, have serious opportunity to have an impact on Azerbaijan and taking the situation to a certain solution.

According to the opposition deputy, the crisis in Artsakh continues, there are rather big problems. “The situation that today exists in Artsakh, is rather hard. Our compatriots live a rather grave, rather complicated period in Artsakh, and they are unfortunately, alone,” the Secretary of With Honor Faction concluded.
