According to the RA Deputy Minister of Justice Armenuhi Harutyunyan, the adoption of the draft law on Making Addendum to the Constitutional Law on Making Addenda and Amendments to the Constitutional Law on Parties is due to the requirement of clarification of legal regulations related to the existing functions of the Corruption Prevention Commission in the field of control over the current financial activities of the parties.

It was also noted that it is proposed to provide targeted state funding to the parties for 2022 in accordance with the current law.

On December 9, at the extraordinary sitting, the parliament adopted the draft law in the first reading by voting.
