It is Planned to Facilitate Procedure for Fulfilling Obligations by Businessmen

“The purpose of the draft law is to clarify the issues of accounting of tax obligations and debit money in the taxpayers’ personal account cards, to define the relevant legislative regulations for the introduction of a new methodology for the repayment sequence of obligations and debit money in personal account cards,” the Deputy Chairman of the State Revenue Committee Artur Manukyan said, presenting for debate in the first reading the draft law on Making Amendments and Addenda to the RA Tax Code at the NA regular sitting on December 7.

It was noted that the subject of the regulation of the draft is to define the relevant legislative regulations for the introduction of a new methodology for the repayment sequence of obligations and debit money in the taxpayers’ personal account cards.

The NA Vice President Hakob Arshakyan was interested in what the adoption of the draft will bring to the business field, what will change in the businessman’s life.

Artur Manukyan explained that the adoption of the draft will have a positive impact on the business field, as the regulations of the draft will facilitate the procedure for fulfilling the obligations by the businessmen, bases will be created to manage the taxpayers’ personal account cards completely electronically in the tax authority.

Once adopted, the law will enter into force from January 1, 2024. And until then, software works will be carried out.

“The NA Standing Committee on Economic Affairs endorsed the draft,” the Committee member Hovik Aghazaryan informed about this.
