A Number of Legislative Initiatives Authored by the Government Debated in the Second Reading

Proposals on the draft law on Making Amendments and Addenda to the law on Justice Academy after the first reading were not presented: the RA Deputy Minister of Justice Arpine Sargsyan noted.

The adoption of the draft law is conditioned by the necessity of having representatives of the Anti-Corruption Committee and the Investigation Committee in the Management Board of the Justice Academy, as well as designing regulations referring to the abovementioned structures in some provisions of the law on Justice Academy.

It is proposed by the package of drafts on Making Addendum to the law on Making Addenda and Amendment to the law on Remuneration of the Persons Holding State Positions and State Service Positions and on Making Addenda and Amendments to the law on Remuneration of the Persons Holding State Positions and State Service Positions to design paying surcharge for the employees carrying out operative-intelligence activity in the Anti-Corruption Committee for every year of the service in the subdivisions carrying out operative-intelligence activity in the Anti-Corruption Committee, as well as to rectify the regulations connected with the remuneration of the Chairman of the Anti-Corruption Committee.

Arpine Sargsyan informed that after the first reading amendments were not made in the package of the drafts.

The RA Deputy Minister of Justice Grigor Minasyan presented for debate the draft law on Making Addenda to the Law on Judicial Acts Compulsory Enforcement.

As Grigor Minasyan assured, proposals were not presented after the first reading.

The draft law on Making Amendments and Addenda to the Law on Judicial Acts Compulsory Enforcement proposes to regulate the process of keeping the property within the enforcement proceedings.

Proposals were made by the law on Making Addenda and Amendments to the Law on Mediation and the package of enclosed drafts.

The RA Deputy Minister of Justice Grigor Minasyan noted that after the first reading the Government presented a number of proposals, which were accepted.

As a result of debate, all legislative initiatives were endorsed.

The mentioned draft laws were debated in the second reading at November 8 sitting of the NA Standing Committee on State and Legal Affairs.

The debate of the draft law on Making Addendum to the RA Law on Regulation of Administrative Legal Relations was postponed up to two months.
