On April 5 Mher Shahgeldyan, Chairman of the NA Standing Committee on Defence, National Security and Internal Affairs, received Jan Stromsem, Executive Director of the International Programs of the U.S. Courts National Center.

During the meeting the possibilities of the input of the records management general system and criteria in the police, prosecutor’s systems, courts and colonies. The guests introduced the new program of the records management general system elaborated in the U.S. in the above-mentioned spheres. The sides also touched upon the U.S. experience in the citizen-policeman relations and the teaching and training courses existing in the U.S. in this sphere.

On April 10 Mher Shahgeldyan, Chairman of the NA Standing Committee on Defence, National Security and Internal Affairs, received Aurelie Bouchez, Deputy Head of the European Department on Caucasus of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of France.

During the meeting the sides discussed issues concerning Armenia-EU close relations, Armenia-NATO partnership, the role and significance of the parliament of Armenia in the Euro-integration process. The sides also discussed issues concerning the regional developments, opening of the borders. They touched upon the development of the Armenian-French relations, the possibilities of the French contributions in the economy of Armenia, improvement of the business atmosphere in our country and the problems of the economic legislation improvement in this context.

During the meeting other issues of bilateral interest were discussed.
