Nikol Pashinyan: An extraordinary session of the CSTO Collective Security Council is being initiated
1 / 2

During the NA-Government Q&A, the deputy of the Civil Contract Faction Lilit Minasyan asked the Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan about the response so far from the CSTO, to which our country appealed after the Azerbaijani military aggression.

The Prime Minister confirmed the circumstance of appealing to the CSTO and informed that a decision was made at the extraordinary session of the CSTO Collective Security Council, as a result of which a group came to Armenia and observed and assessed the situation on the spot.

Nikol Pashinyan informed that now an extraordinary session of the CSTO Collective Security Council is being initiated to discuss that report.

Referring to the expectations from the session, the Prime Minister expressed an opinion that the CSTO will give a clear assessment of what happened and will adopt a road map to restore the territorial integrity of Armenia. According to him, this is the expectation not only of the RA Government, but also of the Armenian public.
