Dear compatriots,

September 21, 1991 is the day for the fulfillment of the united dream of the independence of the Republic of Armenia.

Those who have fought for independence, their generations and those who were born in the independent Armenia have passed and pass through many ordeals.

We express our gratitude and thankfulness to our brothers and sisters who were completely faithful to the idea of independence, who suffered hardships and faced challenges. We thank with respect and bow the brave brothers and sisters who did not spare their lives for the homeland, independence, sovereignty.

In these days for our homeland, when we suffered severe losses, it is important to find strength to dispel the despair, to work and to create for independence and for the future.

I congratulate all of us on the occasion of the independence of the Republic of Armenia, of our regained statehood.
