At July 6 extraordinary sitting of the RA NA Standing Committee on Financial-Credit and Budgetary Affairs, the draft law on Precious Metals with enclosed package was debated and endorsed.

The package of drafts proposes to comply the status of the agency State Treasury of Precious Metals and Precious Stones with the requirements of the RA legislation, ensuring the efficiency of public administration.

According to the key rapporteur, the Deputy Minister of Finance Armen Hayrapetyan, as a result of the proposing legal regulation adoption, it is expected to create additional preconditions for the effective implementation of the functions of the RA Ministry of Finance in the sphere of precious metals.
