According to the Director of the Yerevan School of Political Studies Armen Zakaryan, Education for Democratic Citizenship: The First-time voters project was implemented in parallel with the previous parliamentary elections. 50 out of 104 high schools of the republic are included in this project. The geography is large: Syunik, Kapan, Goris, Jermuk, Vayk, Yeghegnadzor, Gyumri and Dilijan. The winners of the project were hosted in the National Assembly on April 29. Before being elected, they studied the current Electoral Code and imagined the actual electoral process through the electoral game.
After the meeting with the President of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia Alen Simonyan, the pupils also asked questions to the deputies of the RA NA Civil Contract Faction Narek Babayan and Alkhas Ghazaryan. According to one pupil, the most important issue after the war is the return of prisoners of war and missing persons. The pupil inquired what steps are taken in that direction. The deputies noted that work in that direction is done day and night. The questions of teachers and pupils mainly referred to the signing of a peace agreement between Armenia and Azerbaijan, the field of security, urban development, teacher certification, remote learning and the existing problems in the field of education.
