At March 1 sitting, the National Assembly in the first reading debated the bill on Making Amendments and Addenda to the Law on State Commission for the Protection of the Economic Competition (SCPEC), which presented the Chairman of the Competition Protection Commission (CPC) Gegham Gevorgyan.
It is proposed to specify the format of the information not subject to requirement. The Commission will be able to make use of the obtained data contacting without the entity through special technical-programme from the state electronic platforms by the legislative amendment. In case of non-declared and banned concentrations it is proposed to set special conditions for the use in the accelerated procedure. A more flexible order of making conclusion and improvement of legislative base is designed.

In their speeches and interpellations, the deputies touched upon the increase in prices of petrol and fuel in the market, the negative consequences of the price fluctuations on the egg market, the price difference of PCR tests being carried out in different laboratories for COVID-19.
