RA NA President Alen Simonyan Receives Delegation Led by Minister of Justice of Georgia Rati Bregadze

On January 27, the RA NA President Alen Simonyan received the delegation led by the Minister of Justice of Georgia Rati Bregadze being in Armenia on a two-day official visit at the invitation of the RA Minister of Justice Karen Andreasyan.

Welcoming the guests, Alen Simonyan has noted that Armenia attaches great importance to the sustainable development of the friendly relations with Georgia and the deepening of cooperation in numerous spheres.

At the meeting the works being done on the constitutional reforms in Armenia, the electronic justice, ensuring compulsory execution and in the Probation services and the issues concerning other reforms to be made were discussed. The RA NA President has noted that our country is interested in the Georgian counterparts’ experience in the fields of services ensuring compulsory execution and the civil acts registration.

A talk was held on introducing the experience of ‘Justice Houses’ in the Republic of Armenia.

The sides underlined the law-making activity of the parliaments greatly promoting the improvement of the justice system and the reforms. In this context the cooperation of the profile Committees of the two countries’ parliaments with the sub-divisions of the justice departments was highlighted.

Thanking the NA President for the reception, the Minister of Justice of Georgia drew the attention of the attendees to the importance of the exchange of experience regarding the justice system, stressing the young lawyers’ engagement and the boosting of the frequent implementation of the joint projects. According to him, a good launch of the joint agenda elaboration and use is laid, which will have a continuation for the benefit of the law-making and legal practice of the relevant spheres of the two countries.
