On January 4, the extraordinary sitting convened by the RA NA Standing Committee on Defense and Security was held, on the agenda of which was the item of the election of the Deputy Chair of the Standing Committee.
The Chair of the Committee Andranik Kocharyan informed that the competent NA Civil Contract Faction did not nominate a candidate for the Deputy Chair of the Committee. He has expressed the conviction that the item will receive a legal solution in the near future.
The opposition members of the Committee were not present at the sitting.
