At December 16 NA extraordinary sitting, the deputies debated in the first reading the amendments being proposed to the law on Licensing authored by the Government.

As the RA Deputy Minister of Economy Ani Ispiryan has informed, it is proposed to provide permission in simplified procedure by other states of foreign legal persons for being engaged with kinds of activity subject to licensing in case of appropriate licensing or adequate permission not envisaging a requirement for the venue in the RA, as it is now - without debate of the Government.

The rapporteur has noted that at present there are 78 kinds of licensing activity. According to the Deputy Minister, the adopting the draft law the business environment will be improved, and the foreign companies will be able to carry out economic activity in Armenia, being licensed in the simplified procedure.
