On December 16, the NA extraordinary sitting was convened by the Government initiative.

The deputy of the Armenia Faction Mkhitar Zakaryan who took part in the NA sitting for the first time took the oath of office as a deputy.

The parliament has debated the NA Draft Decision on the Special Procedure for the Debate of the Agenda Items of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia held on 16 December 2021, according to which, the debate of the drafts in the second reading envisaging second reading for the agenda items of the extraordinary sitting will be organized in the first reading after their adoption during 24-hour. It was envisaged to submit the written proposals related to the drafts and the conclusion of the Head Committee during three hours for each one.

The representative of the initiator of the extraordinary sitting, the RA Deputy Minister of Economy Ani Ispriyan proposed to remove the debate of the RA draft laws in the second reading on Making Addenda to the Law on Licensing and on Making Amendments and Addenda to the Law on General Education from the agenda of the extraordinary sitting.

The NA decision was accepted.
