At the sitting of the NA Standing Committee on Labor and Social Affairs, t he Acting Head of the Civil Service Bureau of the RA Prime Minister Staff Vache Kalashyan presented for debate the draft law on Making Addenda to the Law on Remuneration of Persons Holding State Positions and State Service Positions. The issue is debated in the second reading.
The aim of the initiative, before the increase in the basic salary, is to ensure the right of persons holding state position and state service position to receive a basic salary at least equal to the minimum monthly salary. With the regulations, the amount of the basic salary of the persons holding state position and state service position for 2022 cannot be less than 70% of the nominal minimum monthly salary established by law. The draft also includes provisions to provide some guarantees for the persons involved in training camps, military trainings or exercises holding state position or state service positions.
Proposals were not presented during the period of the first to the second reading.
The Committee endorsed the initiative.
