On November 3, at the joint sitting of the Standing Committee s on State and Legal Affairs and on Financial-Credit and Budgetary Affairs of the National Assembly, the debate of the RA draft law on the RA State Budget for 2022 continued.

According to the member of the Corruption Prevention Commission Aramayis Pashinyan, in the coming budget year, the Committee will implement the programme Ensuring the Development of the Corruption Prevention System, within the framework of which the events Corruption Prevention and Development of Building Integrity, Development of Capacities of Corruption Prevention Commission and Provision of Technical Equipment will be implemented.

334mln and 17mln AMD correspondingly will be allocated to implement the events.

In 2022, about 351mln AMD will be allocated to the Commission in general, which has been increased by 50% compared to the allocations of the current year.

According to Aramayis Pashinyan, the number of the Commission Staff has been increased and it still has a tendency to grow which is due to large number of functions reserved to the Commission. “There are many expenditures and needs in the Commission, however those are reimbursed thanks to the support of our international partner organizations,” he said.
