On the final day of the official visit to the Russian Federation, the delegation led by the Speaker of the RA National Assembly Alen Simonyan visited the Prelacy of Holy Transfiguration Church of Russia and New Nakichevan Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church. After the exchange of greetings, the Primate of Russia and New Nakichevan Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church Archbishop T. Yezras Nersisyan blessed the RA NA Speaker and the members of the delegation led by him, wishing an effective activity.

Thanking the Archbishop for the reception, the RA NA Speaker Alen Simonyan talked about the official visit to the RF, presenting some details. Talk was held on Homeland-Diaspora relations and the role and the importance of the Armenian Church within the framework of it. Issues related to the Diocese were also discussed.

At the end of the meeting, the NA Speaker had a private talk with the Primate of Russia and New Nakichevan Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church Archbishop T. Yezras Nersisyan.
