On October 5, the Speaker of the RA National Assembly Alen Simonyan met with the teaching staff and students of the Diplomatic Academy of the RF Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA). The meeting was preceded by a private talk with the President of the Academy Alexander Yakovenko.

The meeting began with Alen Simonyan’s speech dedicated to post-revolutionary Armenia. The speech was followed by Q&A. The democratic policy of post-revolutionary Armenia was at the core of the discussion, and it was referred to the parliamentary elections in Armenia. Opinions were voiced on security issues in the region, as well as features related to the economy of Armenia were discussed. The students asked questions about the priorities of the Armenian-Russian relations, the current situation of post-war Artsakh, and they were also interested in other issues related to the Armenian reality. The RA NA Speaker gave exhaustive answers to the voiced questions.
