The Chair of the RA NA Standing Committee on Foreign Relations Eduard Aghajanyan met with the Head of the Delegation of the European Union (EU) to Armenia, the Ambassador Andrea Wiktorin.

Welcoming the guest, Eduard Aghajanyan highlighted the different projects implemented by the European Union in Armenia, in particular 2.6bln euros support provided by the EU directed to the implementation of the priority initiatives for Armenia.

In this context, the importance of the support of the National Assembly as an oversight body within the frameworks of the given processes was touched upon, and the both sides highlighted it.

During the meeting, the interlocutors discussed issues related to the agenda of the Armenia-European Union cooperation.

Thanking for the reception, Andrea Wiktorin reaffirmed the readiness of the European Union to support the reforms made in Armenia.
