On August 12, the President of the RA National Assembly met with the representative of the Yazidi community in parliament Rustam Bakoyan.

The Head of the legislative body was interested in the problems of the brotherly Yazidi community of the largest national minority in Armenia, expressed readiness for being consistent and supporting their solution.

Congratulating Alen Simonyan on being elected NA President, Rustam Bakoyan thanked the Head of the parliament for the warm and friendly attitude shown towards the national minorities in Armenia.

The MP has presented the problems of the community, adding that they are possible to solve with the assistance of the power: “After the last two and a half years, it is evident that the power formed after the revolution is ready to support the solution of the national minorities’ problems in Armenia.”
