On May 7, the parliament in the first reading debated the package of the bills on Making Addendum to the law on State Border and on Amending the RA Code on Administrative Offences.

As the Deputy Director of the RA National Security Service Stepan Melkonyan has informed, during the meeting held in the RA Ministry of Foreign Affairs in February 2020, it was voiced by the representatives of the Border Guard Department of the RD Security Federal Service deployed in our country that the shootings being made through the video-photo and the unmanned flying machines on the border layer of the RA state border can refer to the protection of the RA state border.

According to the rapporteur, the smuggling cases carried out through the unmanned flying machines increased.

Similar regulations are designed in a number of the CIS states, particularly in the RF and in the Republic of Belarus

It is proposed to ban the persons, who entered the border layer without using unmanned flying machines on the border layer without relevant permission, make video shootings and photograph the territory if the borderline state, the engineering structures placed on the border layer, the barriers, the buildings-constructions being used by the border guard troops, watchtowers and transport means.

The persons committed legal offence will be fined with the amount of hundred folds of the minimum salary instead of functioning thirty fold.
