On April 23, the RA NA Vice President Vahe Enfiajyan hosted the senior pupils of Kolya Tsarukyan School.

The Deputy Speaker of the parliament, presenting the details of the activity of the legislative body, has noted that he is a member of the Standing Committee on Foreign Relations, as well as a number of interparliamentary committees, international parliamentary organizations and the RA NA Friendship Groups.

In this context, Vahe Enfiajyan stated that the plenary session of Euronest PA recently held, in the framework of which the reports were presented and resolutions were adopted in the Committees.

Referring to the legislative initiatives authored by him, the amendments to the recently adopted Criminal Code which proposes to impose life imprisonment for high treason and espionage by the confiscation of property were highlighted.

The guests were also interested in the snap parliamentary elections. The Vice President of the Parliament presented the procedure for holding snap elections.

Highlighting the role of education in our country, Vahe Enfiajyan mentioned: “Education is the only guarantee for the preservation of our country and the development of the state. No matter what profession you will choose, at first you should be educated”.

After the conversation, the pupils took a tour accompanied with the Vice President in the building of the parliament, were in the NA session hall then in the museum and the library.
