RA NA Vice President Receives Ambassador of Bulgaria

On October 8, the RA NA Vice President Vahe Enfiajyan received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Bulgaria to the Republic of Armenia Maria Pavlova Tzotzorkova-Kaymaktchieva.

The RA NA Vice President presented to the Ambassador the wide-scale aggression, which had begun against the Artsakh Republic on September 27 by Azerbaijan, touching upon the war hard situation created on the line of contact because of that.

Vahe Enfiajyan has informed that the armed forces of the enemy have targeted and until today are bombarding and shelling with heavy weapons the capital of Artsakh Stepanakert and the infrastructures of civilian importance, which have caused numerous victims and wounded not only among the military, but also among the civilian population. The Vice President has underlined that the armed forces of Azerbaijan are in war against Artsakh, using the engaged mercenary terrorists through Turkey.

Let us note that the Head of the RA NA Armenia-Bulgaria Friendship Group Vahe Enfiajyan contacted with his colleague – the Head of Bulgaria-Armenia Friendship Group Nikolay Tishev: the latter on behalf of the Group and him expressed deep anxiety over the continuing armed conflict in Artsakh, which had resulted in numerous victims among the military and the civilians on both sides. The Friendship Group called on both sides to stop firing and solve the problem through peaceful negotiations within the framework of the OSCE Minsk Group. The members of the Group expressed confidence that the problem could not be solved in any other way.
