On February 28-29, at Aghveran Apricot Hotel on the joint initiative of the RA NA Standing Committee on Protection of Human Rights and Public Affairs and the International Republican Institute two-day working discussion on Parliamentary Strategy towards 2020-2022 Action Plan stemming from the RA Protection of Human Rights and Elaboration of the Action Plan was held.

During the discussions the speakers presented and discussed the goals, the problems, the tools and the influence of the parliamentary oversight, as well as the actions of the protection of human rights strategy. Working groups were formed, which predetermined their upcoming actions and debated the road map of the joint work and actions of the RA NA Standing Committee on protection of Human Rights and Public Affairs and the International Republican Institute.

The problems, coming from the strategy over which the Committee and the International Republican Institute would implement joint initiatives, were distinguished.
