On 26 January, in Tsaghkadzor Chief of Staff, Secretary General of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia Tigran Galstyan attended the closing ceremony of the Workshop “Use of Modern Technologies in Parliamentary Analytical, Expertise, and Research Activities.” The Workshop was organized for the parliamentary administrations of the Eastern Partnership countries.

Tigran Galstyan welcomed participants from Georgia, Belarus, Ukraine, and Moldova, underlined the importance of the topic of the workshop and assured that sharing the existing best practice and the use of modern technologies and methods will, eventually increase the effectiveness of those parliamentary structural units that perform research, expertise, and analytical functions.

In his speech Tigran Galstyan highly appreciated the role of the GIZ (Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit) Office Armenia in the development of the Network of the Secretaries General of the Eastern Partnership Countries and the assistance in the events that are organized in the framework of that Network. He also thanked the professors from the Armenian State University of Economics and the American University of Armenia for their participation in the Workshop discussions.
