On October 28, the President of the RA National Assembly being on an official visit in the Republic of Italy met with the Mayor of Rome Virginia Raggi. The latter presented to Ararat Mirzoyan the vision of the city development, as well as the ways of resisting the challenges before the city of Rome.

Ararat Mirzoyan welcomed the idea of holding of the Forum dedicated to the 2800^th anniversary of Yerevan jointly with the Municipality of Rome, expressing conviction that Virginia Raggi with her experience would promote the solution of the problems facing the Capital of Armenia.

In the framework of his visit Ararat Mirzoyan also took part in the reception dedicated to Independence Day of the Republic of Armenia organized by the RA Embassy to Italy, where a number of the MPs of the Italian Parliament handed over Medals of Honour and Diplomas for the contribution to the development of the Armenian-Italian inter-parliamentary relations.
